In El Salvador:
- For all my Salvadoran friends and acquaintances- for their safety, their health, and their well-being
- For Salvadoran pastors- Pastor Matias, Pastor Martina, and Pastor Alejandro- that they would be able to effectively minister to their congregations
- That God would bless the work of the Lutheran Church in El Salvador
- For the health of the leader of the Salvadoran Lutheran Church, Bishop Medardo Gomez
- For all the churches in the U.S., Germany, Sweden and elsewhere that have partnered with Lutheran churches in El Salvador- may God work through these partnerships to establish God's reign on earth
For me:
- That I would have an open mind and an open heart to whatever it is that God is calling me to in life
- For patience and wisdom as I try to listen to and discern what God is calling me to
- For endurance (physical, emotional, and spiritual)
- For courage
- For faith
